Archie ADOPTED
Meet Archie who I found in Romania this month. He is unchained and safe now so please be rest assured about that.
Archie had wandered into a farmers field who had then chained him up. The collar was so tight that it was digging into his little neck. I was so alarmed to see this little dog curled up on a chain that I asked the farmer if we could have him. The farmer initially refused as he said Bichon are good at herding sheep. I offered him money so I could take him. He sold me this stray little dog.
Though it was an outcry to sell a dog he didn’t own Archie was worth every single penny.
Archie is a small size fluffy boy. He is really good around dogs, cats and children. Archie is very bright and interested in his surroundings. He was very good when the shelter staff were seeing to the wounds on him and he didn’t make any attempt to snap. He really does have a lovely nature. He will be fully vaccinated, microchipped, neutered and have a pet passport.
If anyone can open their home and hearts to Archie please send an email to pennysark@outlook.com.
The photos were taken on Archie’s first day as we rescued him, so more photos will follow soon, but imagine how he will look when his fur returns and he can be groomed in a home.
When we took Archie to the shelter he really amazed me, sniffing the dogs with his tail up. What he didn’t like was then going into a kennel with other dogs, he was crying and that is where he is awaiting his home.
