Background

Every dog and cat has a story - a story we don’t always know. We are only involved in the latter part of it.

Most of our rescues are found either out on the street or we have saved them from an overseas kill shelter. However, each animal has still had different experiences wherever they have been found.

Our experienced shelter staff will therefore assess each animal on how they respond to different stimuli to see what and how much rehabilitation they need.

Health and Well-being

Our animals health is our prime concern.

Each dog undergoes rigorous health assessments by our staff and local trustworthy vets, ensuring they are vaccinated, spayed or neutered and in good health. Part of our work is fundraising for these initial costs, as well as any costs for more serious treatments and surgeries that may be needed. For an example of this, see Shylah’s story.

Ongoing Support

Our commitment doesn’t conclude at adoption.

We are here for you and your rescue at all points throughout and after the adoption process - offering online behavioural support and guidance. We also love to be kept updated on their progress and appreciate any pictures of their new life!
