Travel Day

Every two weeks our dogs can travel to their new homes. Today 3 lucky dogs boarded the bus to their new lives. This afternoon, along with their passports and health certificate they joined seventeen dogs and cats all heading to the U.K.

This weeks lucky dogs are Mara, Winston and Lady Penelope. They were spotted by their families on Facebook and our website and they were instantly snapped up. The process for all of them has been short and streamlined. The people had their home checks first. They were then given lots of information about the dog, a thorough assessment and photos/videos. We made sure the matches were perfect. ke it stand out

A contract was drawn up and the adoption donation of £440 was paid. This paid for their passport, vaccinations, flea and wormer, microchip. spay and neuter and transport from Romania to the U.K.

Then came preparations where they visited the vet and this was all videoed, so our adopters can be assured our whole adoption process is thorough and professional.

Tomorrow the dogs will arrive at quarantine kennels in Romania, where by law they stay for 48 hours. By Wednesday evening the journey to Calais begins. Unless dogs are going to a foster home first, they arrive at their adopters door by Friday or Saturday. Then they can start to have their forever safe and happy lives which is all we want for them all.
