This month, we celebrate a very special boy with a heart of gold, our incredible Alin!
Alin came to us at Penny's Ark as a rescue, and like many of our dogs, he's experienced his share of challenges.
But through it all, his gentle spirit and loving nature have shone brightly.
He's always been a favorite among our volunteers for his affectionate cuddles and playful antics.
Recently, Alin proved he's not just a wonderful companion but a true hero
Another dog in our care, Nado, was critically ill with a serious tick-borne disease that can be found in Romania, Babesiosis, and desperately needed a blood transfusion to survive.
Alin's blood type was a perfect match. With his donation, he provided the life-saving transfusion that gave Nado the fighting chance he so desperately needed.
This selfless act of compassion is a powerful testament to the life-saving bond among animals.
