Welcome to Penny’s Ark! We are a small, registered animal rescue charity located in Southport, Merseyside. Our mission is to relieve the suffering of animals in Europe through the rehabilitation of rescue animals, to provide and maintain rescue homes or other facilities, for the reception, care and treatment of abandoned and mistreated animals.

Shylah the Tri-pawed Hero
Shylah's story is all too common in places like Romania, where stray dogs roam the streets in high numbers. When we found him, Shylah was in a dire state and his injury was severe. But we got him the life-saving treatment he needed. Since then, he has found his forever home with an amazing family.
