We're based in Southport.
We rescue dogs across the UK, but our home is here. If you're in Merseyside, Liverpool, or Lancashire, adopting locally has a few gentle advantages.
Why adopt locally?
We adopt to homes all over the UK, but the North West is where we started. Our founder lives here, our main foster network is here, and our roots run deep across Merseyside and West Lancashire.
Adopting locally means you're joining a network of people who already know these dogs. Adopters meet up, share trusted local vets, and come along to our coffee mornings and fundraisers.
For dogs who are nervous or have complex needs, we ask for a local adopter. It means you can visit several times before bringing them home, at their pace.

North West Adoption.
No. We adopt UK-wide. This page is here for people in the North West who want to know what adopting locally looks like. Some dogs are listed as local-only because their temperament needs a few visits before the move.
Most of our local dogs are in foster homes around Southport, Liverpool, and West Lancashire. Once your home check is complete, we will arrange for you to visit the dog at their foster home.
