The work runs on a small team and a lot of help.

Penny's Ark has paid staff at the sanctuary in Romania and a UK trustee team that mostly does this around their actual full-time jobs. Everything else: drivers, fosterers, home checkers, fundraisers, the people who give £5 a month. They are what makes the work possible at all.

Volunteer

UK roles: home checks, transport, social media, event help, photography. Sanctuary volunteering in Romania is a longer-term ambition.

Fundraise for us

Run, bake, walk, or do something wonderfully silly. Whatever you choose, you will be keeping these dogs safe, and we will be cheering you every step of the way.

Pennies Auction

Our regular fundraising auction runs in a Facebook group. Bid on items donated by supporters; everything raised goes to the Penny's Ark dogs.

Leave a gift in your will

A legacy gift, however small, lets us take in the dogs who need us most for years to come. Get in touch if you'd like to discuss.
