A small, unique UK charity running a very special Sanctuary in Romania. We rescue dogs, care for them, and bring them to the UK when they are ready. We try to tell the truth about all of it.
Romania and the UK. One piece of work.
We rescue dogs from kill shelters and the streets in Romania. We care for them at our sanctuary in Crivatu until they are ready. Then they travel to the UK on the Lucky Bus, either into a foster home or directly to the adopter who will provide their forever home.
Some dogs never make that journey. They stay at the sanctuary for the rest of their lives, and that is part of our work too. It is why monthly financial support and one-off donations matter so much to us. It keeps us going.

The Romanian Sanctuary
Our Sanctuary is in Crivatu, Romania. We took over in April 2026. Catalin, our Sanctuary Guardian, keeps it running. It costs more than £5,000 a month and every penny is spent on the dogs.
